Sydney Royal Judging Honour

I felt very privileged to be invited to judge the Show Hunter Galloways at the prestigious Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2023. Having exhibited both horses and dogs at Sydney Royal for some 40+ years it was certainly an honour to be adjudicating this year. I enjoyed judging very large classes with lovely depth of quality in the majority of them. My Best Novice was well turned out and produced some lovely work for her win. My champion lineup was strong with the winner of the Large Hunter Galloway class taking the flowers. My Reserve Champion came from the Gentlemen's Show Hunter class and placed a close second in the Large Hunter Galloway class. Third in this very strong class was the eventual winner of the Ladies event who worked consistently throughout the show to make my Champion a toughly fought contest. I would have happily taken all three home.
