It say it was a big decision to commit our day old pup to a future in another country is an understatement. However, after long chats and discussions on the finer details we agreed that this little boy would join his new Hong Kong family, albeit somewhat later than all the other babies left for their new homes. After a visit to Australia by Warren and Estiian we knew we had done the right thing.
So after bidding his 3 litter mates adieu we settled in to preparing Ozzy for his big journey ahead. Toilet, car, crate, dog and human socialisation training was fun but necessary to ensure our sweet little man would arrive happy, healthy and well adjusted in his new country.
Needless to say it was still a stressful time dropping Ozzy to Dogtainers in Sydney, who looked after him superbly throughout his BOAS testing to booking him for his flight early the next morning. They shared photos with both ourselves and his connections in Hong Kong.
Warren and I both nervously tracked his journey across the thousands of mile in the air, and with relief we received the most heartwarming photos and videos of little Ozzy against the bright lights of Honkers and playing with his new BT bestie Phoebe.
We are truly happy we could fulfill the lives of others through our breeding program.
