Zareba Floats Like a Butterfly

Elke, our foundation Boston Terrier bitch, although relatively lightly shown due to our other commitments she has enjoyed some lovely wins in the show ring over the years including Best in Group & Class in Show wins. She achieved her Australian Champion title in September 2016 shortly after heading back to Zareba to be campaigned by Deby Bruce & Amy Gilson while we focused on the ponies.

We were thrilled in 2017 when she was awarded Challenge Bitch and Best of Breed at Sydney Royal under judge Mr Harto Stockmari from Finland, where she was beautifully handled by Mikhaila.

She had her first litter in January 2018, sired by Gr Ch. Zelos Boston Legal, which resulted in us retaining Gretel (Ch. Zareba On Broadway). Shortly after her kids left home she was back in the ring at Sydney Royal for a Challenge Bitch win. A return to Sydney Royal in 2019 saw her stand Reserve Challenge Bitch and Runner-up Best of Breed.

In September 2021 we welcomed her second and final litter of beautiful babies, this time sired by Zareba My Mummas a Showgirl (Ch. Canmoy’s Boston Rockefeller (Imp Fin) x Sup Ch. Neuter Ch. Zareba Struts Like a Showgirl). From this we have retained the effervescent Bliss (Zareba Cover Girl) who we are currently campaigning.

Having been spayed in July 2022 we look forward to Elke’s continued show ring success as she hits the ring as a neuter and hopefully her Neuter title in due course.
