Isobel was leased as a yearling to Kayla Booth (KB Browbands) where she was prepared by Kayla Booth throughout her show career. After an instantly successful start to her show career Issie made her Royal Show debut at Sydney Royal in 2010 placing highly in all of her led breed classes after which she never looked back consistently a broad sash winner at Royal, SHC, Aggie & All Breed level.

A half-sister to Royal, HOTY & EA winner Carlingford Park Intrigue owned by Kristy Glover, Isobel proved a very successful saddle star in her Newcomer year (2012) qualifying for her first GN where she was a Top Ten finalist in 2013.

2013 also saw Isobel sashed RU Small Pony at Pacific Coast, Best Novice & Winner of her Open Mare under 12.2hh & her led RP at Canberra Royal, a winner at Sydney Royal & Runner-up Small Pony at HOTY wrapping up her second season under saddle taking out the Champion Small Pony garland at the ESH Saddle Horse Championships.

The highlights of her show career have undoubtedly been watching her sashed Grand National Champion Small Pony of the Year in 2015. She didn’t disappoint during Easter in 2016, producing some of her best work during her swan song at Sydney Royal in March 2016 where she was sashed Reserve Champion Small Pony. Our gorgeous little ginger Princess has since returned home to join our small well performed and proven broodmare band. We look forward to her producing some child friendly youngsters for us before coming back as a child’s mount for our ever increasing number of grandchildren in years to come.
